September 11th 2010

September 11th holds a special place in my heart, not only was it a day of great loss for our country, but it is also my Grandpa Bradford's birthday. I also found out that it is also my Great Grandma Warner's birthday as well.
My grandpa is listed on the Wall of Honor for his service to our country!
Keith G. Bradford, my hero! Miss you grandpa, can't wait to be with you again one day!

At the Spanish Fork cemetery they have "The Moving Wall" memorial right now. This is a wall that is on a moving display all through out the country. Spanish Fork is lucky enough to be on the tour! Here are a few pics I took. Enjoy!

I love this picture and how the words reflect upon Craig's face.

This wall holds the names of every soldier that died in the Vietnam War.

Just a little fact about this memorial: "The Moving Wall" is the half-size replica of the Washington, DC Vietnam Veterans Memorial and has been touring the country for more than twenty years. When John Devitt attended the 1982 dedication in Washington, he felt the positive power of "The Wall." He vowed to share that experience with those who did not have the opportunity to go to Washington. (http://www.themovingwall.org/)

1959 is the year that the first American casualty occurred and 1975 is at the bottom of the panel because it was the year of the last American causalities.

Dad's reflection on the wall.

Reflection of those that gave their lives.

The wall was so big, it was hard to get a picture of it all at once.

Blackhawk 2010 - Labor Day

For Labor Day weekend we were able to do our traditional Bradford camp out! It was so much fun! The weather was pretty nice, a bit windy at times, but sunny and warm for the most part! Here are a few pics we took. I have some on Craig's camera I want to post as well.
What is camping with out a little fishing?!
The weekend was full of great food! We had a dutch oven cook off! Julie and I made a Rocky Road type cake! Kyle and Lincoln went a bit overboard with the chalk... :) Lincoln loved the 4 wheeler daddy brought him :)
We were also able to go shooting, play games, and Craig and Scott even made a snare. We all had a great time. Can't wait to go again!! Hopefully I'll be able to get some more pictures up from the various other cameras that were up there!!

Kind Words From a Dear Friend!

I had a wonderful surprise waiting for me in my mailbox when I got home today. I very sweet and wonderful card from a very dear friend! My very sweet and thoughtful Kelsy Jordan has been in California for the summer. We haven't seen each other for about a year! We met at Snow College in LD Singers. We became great friends and still are to this day! She is a friend that I cherish and love! A card is such a simple gesture, but it means so much to hear from such a dear friend! Love you Kelsy!!!

B7 Roommate Date!

Snow College '08-'09 I had the best roomies ever! We lived in Snow Gardens Apt B7! I love every one of those girls! Melissa, Heather, Kallie, Kelsey S., and Kelsey N. These girls are pretty much sisters to me! Love them to death!

We all had been talking about going on a roommate date reunion for a while now and we finally got it done! On saturday we all met up at my house in Springville played some games till everyone got there and then headed up the canyon and found a nice place to have a fire. It was so much fun having everyone together again, (minus Kelsey N. she wasn't able to make it.) It was really good just to catch up with everyone. I havn't seen most of them since my wedding, and even a couple since before!

It was so much fun! I'm glad we all can get back together and talk like we have never been apart. Love love love these girls!! Can't wait to see them all again! Hopefully next time we will have dearest Kelsey there as well.

Here's to all the great times we had!!!! Love you all!

Fun Filled Weekend!

Kyle is so crazy and spontaneous! He decided on Friday that we were going to take a fishing trip with Krissy up to Maple Lake. We got up there pretty quick after work and set up camp. This is Krissy's first real fishing experience! Oh what fun we had! I think we caught about 16 fish between all of us! It was a blast! We had a fire and roasted some hot dogs and attempted to roast one of our fish on the roasting stick, but it failed and fell in the fire. Good thing I brought hot dogs! The next morning we got up early for some good fishing! We kept 6 really good sized fish. We cooked them on Sunday at the Olsen's for lunch! Yummy! Then we hopped on over to my parents house and ate a very good lasagna dinner! Oh so much food!!!

My friend Brent got home from his mission last week! He had a fun BBQ Saturday night that we went to. It was really fun to see him! He's the same great Brent he always was. We also saw Tyler Nelson at the party which was pretty sweet, he also got home last week! Oh man its so fun to see all my friends coming home!! Welcome home guys!!!

Trevor comes home August 19th! That will be so cool! Can't wait!

Kyle and I went running for the first time in forever last night! It wasn't to bad, but man my stomach did not want to do those sprint exercises. haha.

Have a great day, live life to the fullest, and love like there is no tomorrow!
